Zocalo Fanzine
The fanzine Zocalo was born back in 1995, the brainchild of two beardless teenagers known to their parents as Sergio Cardoso and Oskar Blanco. From that distant April of '95 until 2016, Sergio and Oskar published 23 issues, consistently focusing on a brand of Kafkaesque humor that only the two of them, and perhaps a few other oddballs, could understand. Even so, they managed to secure seven consecutive nominations for Best Fanzine at the Barcelona Comic Fair, as well as two additional nominations at the Madrid Comic Fair.
